What's the Story?
For his first mission as a double-0 agent, James Bond (Daniel Craig) is assigned to track the terrorist financier Le Chiffre (Mads Mikkelsen), who funnels money through a high-stakes poker game. Bond travels to Montenegro to get into the game with the assistance of the beautiful Vesper Lynd (Eva Green). Bond must stop Le Chiffre, either through winning the game or by putting to good use his new license to kill.
Three Good Reasons
• Blonde, buff and built Daniel Craig breaks the mold of what we've come to expect from a James Bond.
• A franchise restart in the vein of 'Batman Begins,' it boasts a script from two-time Oscar winner Paul Haggis.
• French bombshell Eva Green beat out scores of bigger name actresses for the role of the seductive Vesper Lynd.
Bet You Didn't Know
Bond's preference for martinis "shaken, not stirred" has been a part of the character since his first appearance in the novel of "Casino Royale," first published in 1953. Some experts say that shaking will chip the ice, watering down the drink. But as Bond usually requests a vodka martini, making the drink colder does improve the taste
this bond is too ruff
