SendokGarpu.com is going to visit Yayasan Bhakti Luhur at Jl. R.E. Martadinata No. 50B, Ciputat - Tangerang, Tel. (62-21) 7470 4330 on 15th December 2007. It is a place where physically and mentally challenged orphans are taken care of. Children with disability require more attention and expenses than normal children since they need more medical attention and patience.
The event will be held as a celebration of SendokGarpu.com 1st Anniversary, and therefore, the agenda of the event will include lunch, games for children and distribution of goodie bags and sembako to Yayasan Bhakti Luhur.
We shall be grateful for our food; but we often are still too picky on where and what to eat
We shall be grateful for our parents; but we often forget to thank them for what they have done
We shall be grateful for our siblings;but we often fight over silly things
We shall be grateful for our spouse and children; but we often forget to appreciate them
We shall be grateful for our health; but we often complain over a minor cough or cold
We shall be grateful for our mind;but we often use it for making up excuses
We shall be grateful for our vision; but we often are too blind to see the reality
We shall be grateful for our hearing; but we often pretends to be deaf when given advice
We shall be grateful for our speech;but we often say something that hurts other people
We shall be grateful for our legs; but we often run away from a problem we don’t wish to face
We shall be grateful for our body; but we often whine about being a little over or underweight
And finally,We shall be grateful for our hands; because we can use them to help people who don’t have all those things above.
