There are some more functions this script can do which I did show in this video.

I know that the music doesn't loop well, I just didn't want to use default. I had to cut a few parts from the video to make it fit on YouTube. And like I said in the video, I didn't do a good job on animations, I just wanted to script the skill animation concepts down.

Kvetha Fricäya! Greetings, Friends!

By now you may have heard the exciting news.

Over the past few months, in addition to writing Book Four, I've been helping Random House and Templar Publishing produce a companion book to the Inheritance cycle. It's called Eragon's Guide to Alagaësia and is an illustrated tour of the most interesting peoples, places, and things of Eragon's world. Eragon narrates the book himself, and if you pay close attention to what he says, you might catch a few hints about where the series is headed.

The art is by Fred Gambino, Larry McDougal, Ian Millar, and David Wyatt. (I also contributed a few sketches myself.) Each artist brought something different to the book—their styles vary widely—which means that you will get to see four distinct visions of Alagaësia. After working on the Inheritance cycle for over ten years, I'm delighted to finally be able to share with you images of some of the things I've imagined for so long: the Beor Mountains, Tronjheim in Farthen Dûr, the elves' buildings in Ellesméra, the Urgals, the dwarves, and much more.

The book is also filled with fold-out pamphlets, maps, diagrams, letters, and other intriguing odds and ends, such as a patch of simulated dragon skin.

I hope you will have as much fun reading Eragon's Guide to Alagaësia as I did writing it. (Just wait until you see the werecat!) Like every other book I've worked on, it was insanely complicated and faced some incredibly tight deadlines, but it was one of the most rewarding projects I've been involved in. I really enjoyed having the chance to write a book as if I were Eragon; to draw glyphs from the elves' writing system, the Liduen Kvaedhí (including the glyph for Brisingr!); to do a pen-and-ink portrait of Galbatorix; and, above all else, to see the artists bring the world of Alagaësia to life.

I should mention that everyone involved in Eragon's Guide to Alagaësia was amazing, from my editor Michelle to the wonderful folks at Templar. Thank you all!

On a more personal note, I've been having a blast with Book Four. Not too long ago, I finished a large and important chunk of the story, which made me feel all warm and fuzzy, and now things are hopping with Eragon & Co. I don't want to spoil the story for you, but here's a little teaser: The chapter I just completed is titled Brains! And no, there aren't any zombies in the book, unfortunately.

Mmm, brains . . .

Apakah kamu mencintai keluarga dan pekerjaanmu dan tidak berniat memilih diantara keduanya?

Saya seorang wirausaha, single, dan sangat mencintai pekerjaan saya. Berwirausaha adalah cara mendapatkan uang yang sangat baik untuk wanita independent; saya independent, dan suka dengan cara hidup saya yang satu ini, dan bagi saya, berwirausaha tidak selamanya sulit dan tak menentu.

Pekerjaan saya bisa dibilang sederhana, tapi itu bisa menjamin kehidupan saya. (Mau seperti saya juga?)

Saya bergerak di dalam dua bidang usaha.

Pertama: saya mengimpor kerajinan tangan dari dari Jepang; tapi bukan hanya mengimpor barang-barang itu saja, melainkan juga menggelar pameran kerajinan, demonstrasi pembuatan, dan mengajarkan atau memberi kursus bagaimana cara membuat kerajinan tangan "yang masih mentah" ini. Pekerjaan ini berawal dari sekedar hobby, lalu berkembang menjadi sebuah bisnis yang sangat menyenangkan.

Dalam bidang usaha ini, saya bisa bertemu dengan teman-teman baru yang berbeda karakter tapi sama-sama menyukai seni. Saya bisa berbagi ilmu dengan mereka dalam pameran-pameran, karena dalam event-event tersebut terdapat berbagai macam kerajinan tangan lainnya dari berbagai negara seperti Belanda, Amerika Serikat, Vietnam dan China.

Kedua: Di waktu senggang antara kesibukan bisnis kerajinan tangan yang saya jalankan, saya senang membuat kue dan pudding, senang bisa menyajikan hasil buatan sendiri untuk tamu-tamu yang datang ke rumah. Tidak disangka, mereka menyukai puding saya; menurut mereka, "Rasanya berbeda dari puding yang lain." (Ada yang mau mencoba pengalaman ini sendiri? "Atau ada yang mau coba puding saya?" Hahaha! )

Sejak saat itu, setelah pudding saya mulai tenar di kalangan sendiri, saya banyak menerima pesanan, mulai dari kerabat dekat sampai customer baru (yang sepertinya mendapat kisikan dari mereka).

Do you love your job ?


Do you love your family and job and not want to have to choose between the two?

I am a businesswoman, single, and love my job very much. Running a business is a wonderful way to secure an income for independent women; I am independent, and I love my life this way. To me, running a business is not always difficult and insecure.

My job can be categorised as easy, but it guarantees me a good life. (Do you wish to be like me?)

I run two businesses.

First off:

I import Japanese handycrafts; not only importing those, though, but I also conduct small handicraft exhibitions, demonstrations in the ways of making those handicrafts, or courses for the same purpose. It started as a hobby, then grew into an enjoyable business I love so much.

In this business, I can meet with new friends, different in character but similar in the love of arts. I can share my skills in the exhibitions, as there are many kinds of handicrafts from various countries – like Netherland, the USA, Vietnam and China – in those events.

Second off:

In some spare time in my handicraft business, I loved making cakes and puddings, glad to be able to serve the guests who visited my house with snacks I made myself. Surprisingly, they liked my puddings; according to them, “It tastes different from other puddings.” (Are there any of you who wish to try this experience yourself? Or do you want to have a taste on my puddings? hahaha..)

Since then, as my puddings started to be popular, I received many orders from relatives to new customers (who appeared to have received whispers about these puddings from them).

bagi saya saya mencintai pekerjaan demi keluarga jadi apabila kita mencintai keluarga kita harus mencintai pekerjaan kita dan pekerjaan yang kita pilih harus sesuaikan dengan talenta kita supaya kita tdk bosan dan berhenti berkarier . sperti kita sdh pergi kepesta dan sdh membawa kado/hadiah atau ampau ya berikan lah dgn tulus walau pesta nya bagi kita kurang berkenan atau pun bagus karena kita sdh mempersiapkan untuk yang punya pesta bila kita membatalkan pemberian kita padahal kita sdh menikmati nya ya kita lah yang tahu alasannya apakah kita pelit/lupa/ sayang/rugi atau lainnya .namanya kita tdk menggunakan apa yang sdh kita rancang dan berkat kita. begitu juga Tuhan telah memberikan kita ampau/ berkat/hadiah/talenta tapi kita tdk jalankan dgn berkarya untuk dinikmati org lainnya apapun jenis nya artinya kita pelit atau sayang biarpun pekerjaan nya hasil nya sedikit tapi asal sesuai dgn berkat/talenta kita ya kerjakan lah supaya kita dapat sukacita dan dr yang sedikit kita akan dapat nantinya yang banyak krn kita jalan kan dengan re;lax tanpa paksaan krn memang talenta kita atau kesukaan kita . jadi marilah kita senang atau pilih pekerjaan demi talenta kita utk keluarga .itu pendapat saya .

I love what I do now, it couldn't be better than this. Doing a business like Shirley said is really fun. If you want to do a business, you don't need to be skillful in that area, you just need to see the potential then go for it, study and learn in while you're doing it, then you'll learn to love your new baby born business. It's really like having your own baby, you nurture it, you take good care, you...all I'm saying is you'll love your own business later on...

And of course I love my family, I want the best for them, when I succeed in my business, all of it will go to my family, of course I'm doing a business for my family in the first place :)

Doing business is kind of 'a must' for nowadays, due to business is different from 'working for others'. We can schedule our own time, efforts, etc. Regarding to what Shirley and Dion said, being in the business that we love is so important. Love, passion, persistency play important role too. Mencintai pekerjaan bukanlah hal yang mudah jika kita tidak benar2 mengerti untuk apa sebenarnya kita bekerja. Apakah hanya sekedar cari uang? Tentu ada satu hal yang harus kita ingat. Kepintaran dan keahlian kita adalah anugerah dari Tuhan. Oleh karna itu manfaatkan dengan sebaik2nya seperti yang Dia inginkan. Dan bukan untuk memuaskan keinginan diri sendiri. Dan bagi saya yang terutama juga adalah keluarga. Mereka juga anugerah dari Tuhan yang harus kita jaga. Karna itu sangat penting bagi kita sadari bahwa keduanya sangat berharga dan menjadi tanggung jawab kita.

Buat saya keduanya penting, tanpa keduanya hidup terasa hambar.. tul kan... keduanya diperlukan untuk menyokong hidup kita. Buat apa kita kerja kalo kita gak ada keluarga untuk disupport.

The Red Prince moves forward and touches the sword with both hands. And then he pulls – the sword won’t budge. Alexis begins to use force – and still no luck. Like Hernan, he then accumulates his aura to maximum. It’s not beyond the level he can bear, but he is already hurt. His face shows that he’s trying to suppress the pain.

He’s trying to let go, but his hands are as though glued on the sword hilt. Excalibur doesn’t resist him – it wants to destroy him!

Seeing that his brother is in danger, Cristophe moves forward, pumps his aura and tries to pull Alexis away from the sword. Avariel shouts,

‘No! Don’t! Let go of him! He must use his own strength! Don’t help him!’

Chris shouts back, ‘But he’s my BROTHER! I’m not helping him to get the sword, but I must save him, no matter what! I can’t afford to lose another family member!’

‘Don’t be a fool, Cristophe! Don’t lose your life for your family’s sake alone! The world needs you!’

‘All my life I’ve been a fool and still I am now. I only know one thing: Save your family first before saving the world. Even if you fail, at least you’ve tried.’

And suddenly, the pressure from the sword stops and the two brothers are thrown back by their own powers. Alexis, instead of thanking him, scolds Chris instead.

‘You fool! What have you done? I almost got the sword, but you came and ruined the whole thing! You have a knack of making my life miserable! First, you lost me my mother, and now this!’

Cristophe talks back, ‘I-was-a-kid! I couldn’t stop her from coming for me, and when she fell I searched for help! Alas, I was too late but at-least-I’ve-tried! I tried to explain that to you but you just won’t listen!

Now I just saved you life, but you just can’t accept the fact that the sword rejected you and blame me instead!? Fine! I won’t try out for the sword if it makes you happy!’

Avariel cuts in between the two brothers’ argument, saying, ‘You still must try for the sword, Cristophe. You owe nothing to your brother and your family. Your mother’s death was not your fault. It was an accident. Even Excalibur appreciated your intention by releasing you and Alexis from death.

Just learn to appreciate Vadis’ will for a change. You have tried to save your family and friends, and now you may try to save the world. Just do it!’

Cristophe hesitates a bit, and then he walks slowly towards the sword. Lots of thoughts are rumbling inside his brain, but at the end he puts all those thoughts away and grabs the hilt of Excalibur, the Sword of Justice.

His mind is at peace. He doesn’t owe anyone anything. He has nothing to lose. All he feels is his right hand pulling the sword out from the crystallite, just as easy as taking it out from a scabbard.

Chris holds the sword in front of him, observing it from hilt to tip. His eyes catch the blade glimmering gently, giving warmth to his heart. He sees a reflection on the blade like a mirror, but it’s not his. It’s a red ponytail-haired man who looks somewhat familiar to Chris, smiling proudly at him. And then it changes into a man with long, untidy red hair wearing a red headband. He also smiles and nods at Chris. Chris nods back at it, and the reflection turns to Chris’ own.

‘Sage the Fireheart, Antoine the Avenger, and all heroes whom this sword aided. May your spirits fortify me, and may Vadis empower me with his blessings,’ says Chris. Then, turning to Avariel and the fighters he raises Excalibur up high and shouts,

‘From now on, I dedicate my life for Vadis. With this sword, I’ll fight evil and injustice, protect the weak and defend the innocent until I die. I might not be able to save them all, but with my comrades’ help at least I try! Praise Vadis the Right Way; let his will shine in this world!’

After delivering his oath, Cristophe floats in mid-air. His armor shatters in pieces from neck to toe. The Armor of Righteousness flies and attaches itself on Chris torso and hands. The Greaves of Diligence suit his feet. The Shield of Faith rests on his hand and lastly, the Helmet of Truth covers his head fully.

Cristophe, the Paladin of Light, the newly elected Heir of Vadis lands on the floor and stands straight. The angels and aelis come to the tower and bow at him. The divis’ songs of praise echo through the hall. All Yvais rejoices.

Andreas, Carolyn and Iris stand in awe of Cristophe, who is now a man, not a fool anymore. Eidos is simply relieved. Hernan claps his hands and cheers, ‘Bravo! Bravo! Very well done, young man!’

Adler can’t believe his eyes. The lad he had underestimated all this time turned out to be Vadis’ heir after all. His own goal, helping his ally Alexis to get the arsenal has gone to dust. He stares at the Red Prince standing not far from him. Strange, Alexis looks calm, not depressed as he should’ve been.

Maybe he finally admits his defeat with a sincere heart.

Maybe he tries to hide his depression and maintain his honor.

Or maybe he’s... No, he can’t be insane. The Red Prince is stronger than that.

Alexis, on the other hand only stares at his brother without moving. His face looks serious like a general planning his next move in battle.

That night, a jubilant feast full of music and fireworks takes place in the floating city, Yvais. All citizens rejoice, partying in the streets and in their homes. The champions and Dejan join Avariel and the high angels in the palace, introducing Cristophe as the new Heir of Vadis to all. Being as modest as ever, Chris only smiles and waves at the audience. The other heroes (except Adler) toast with Chris in the feast that follows, as congratulation.

Even Alexis makes a personal toast with Chris, saying that he’s proud of his younger brother’s achievement. Chris suggests that Alexis should marry Princess Eloise, but as a good brother and an obedient son the Crown Prince declines.

The fighters are about to leave Yvais after the party, and Archangel Avariel gives out some gifts to some of them before parting.

‘Carolyn Deveraux, I give you this Pendant of Preservation with healing powers. You are now gifted in healing as well as attack magic. Father Andreas will teach you the theories, and you’ll practice to reach perfection.

Lavennia Iris, I give you the Ring of Compassion with aura of protection. Use this with white or nature magic to protect your allies in battle.

And lastly, this Bracelet of Courage I give to you, Eidos Crydias. Your courage and your brave but wise decisions will be essential in the future.

One more thing. Cristophe will stay here for a while because I’m going to teach him the skills that come with the Arsenal of Light. He will be better prepared for the many battles ahead and his ultimate mission: to eliminate the Heir of Vordac. And for the rest of you, good luck. Vadis bless you.’

好，不说你们也知道，工人是怎样的想法，而老板是怎样的想法。万千是两个不同的世界。为了自己能舒服的留在家里，不能不装修。

希望过了几天，生意不会那么冷落，我还要做别的事情呢。
