Are Girls Materialistic?

Well, I just heard an interesting topic in a local radio, asking around about "Are Girls Materialistic?" and that made me think.

As a matter of opinion, I think all girls nowadays are not exactly materialistic.
It's all about lifestyle and how they spend their money. Hey, boys and men have lifestyle too.
For instance, girls usually spend their money on shopping cosmetics, dresses, jewels and such, and boys on games and 'boy toys' like automotives, sporting goods and games.

Now, at a certain point, if they (boys and girls alike) prioritize their lifestyle above all else, if they prioritize 'worldly pleasures' above their calling, that's where 'materialistic' comes in.
So, define materialistic. It's preferring to worldly pleasures and lifestyles above callings that mostly are a contrast to pleasure.

The more common thing we find on modern women is, they prefer stability and never want to sacrifice the lifestyle they achieved for anything.
Of course, not all of them are like that, and sometimes men also prefer stability. So we must view this in one person at a time, not the whole gender.

One thing we can use to measure the extremity of lifestyles is: If the calling demands us to go to Africa to help the poor and the hungry, or the one who cares for you most is not 'strong' and 'stable' financially, which one will you choose?
Stability - current lifestyle or your calling - your true love?
Lifestyle or God?

Answer that for yourself. I'm not the one to judge. It's your life.
And always remember, keep a good software for your mind.
