Andry's China Trip 2011
STAGE ONE: HONG KONG
Day 1, Aug 24
We took off from Jakarta, transit in Changi Airport, Singapore.
We arrived in Hong Kong at night, witnessing the magnificent and beautiful city with high-rise buildings, bridges and tunnels across the island straits.
Day 2, Aug 25
I and my sister journeyed the Fantasy Lands of Disneyland Hong Kong all day and night with fireworks in Snow White Castle as finale. Best attractions there: Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear Astro-Blaster in Tomorrowland and CARS Secret Mission for Summer Fun 2011 event, plus Tarzan's tree house.
Day 3, Aug 26
We went by ferry to Macau. We got lots of sightseeing in the Tourist Square, tried the local delicacies (both Portuguese and Mandarin-styled) in Macau and went all the way to Ruins of St. Paul Cathedral, Macau's historical landmark and climbed the mount fortress.
We also visited magnificent hotels and casinos like Wynn's, Macau Tower, Galaxy and - the largest and the most luxurious - The Venetian.
Day 4, Aug 27
We went to the mountains and Stanley Market in Hong Kong. Should've went to the Ocean Park, too, yet it was replaced with city tour by tram and ferry, exploring Hong Kong at its best.
Went to the mountain peak by the Peak Tram and caught a glimpse in Madame Tussaud's Wax Museum.
