Melihat ayahku di ambang pintu

Aku mengeluh

Melihat ayahku bermandi peluh

Aku mengernyit

Melihat ayahku berlutut dan tertunduk

Aku menggeleng

Melihat ayahku memegangi dada

Aku melenggang                                            

 

Melihat ayahku terduduk di kursi

Kupikir ia hanya santai

Melihat ayahku menatap piring kosong

Kupikir ia tidak lapar

Melihat ayahku hanya mengelap ketiak

Kupikir ia benci mandi

Melihat ayahku langsung mendengkur

Kupikir ia tak peduli padaku         

 

Padahal ayah baru pulang kerja

Padahal tugasnya amat berat

Padahal ayah sedang berdoa

Padahal ada masalah di jantungnya

Padahal ayah lelah dan lapar

Padahal ayah butuh segar dan nyenyak

Melihat pusara ayahku dalam sesal

Mengapa syukur tak terucap sejak awal

Come and Go, Rise and Fall

The clown has gone in a curtain call

Cometh the pirate to sustain the fall

The maiden is getting small and small

Yet, the king still reigns, standing tall

The Sparkle of Your Eyes

The sparkle of your eyes

is brighter than diamonds

Oh so beautiful a sight

warmth to my frozen heart

Oh Lord help me

keep the sparkle alive

Though it's not mine to have

I'll lit the sparkle 'till I die

If tears hide the sparkle away

And anger fire sets the eyes ablaze

Let the warmest day

wipe the tears away

And the coolest night

soothe the flaming heart

Kata paling indah yang terucap oleh bibir manusia adalah
"Ibu"
Panggilan paling indah adalah
"Ibuku"

Kata yang penuh dengan harapan dan cinta,
Kata manis dan indah yang datang
dari kedalaman lubuk hati

Ibu adalah segala-galanya
Ibu adalah penghibur dalam kesedihan
harapan dalam kesusahan
dan sandaran saat kita lemah

Ibu adalah sumber cinta, kebaikan, simpati dan maaf

Kehilangan ibu sama halnya
seperti kehilangan
sebuah jiwa murni yang selalu
menjaga dan memberkati

I am a loner
Stranded in the desert, longing for compassion
My days shattered when you're not present
My raving splash as rainfall drops
Grasp this small heart and count its beats
And you'll know how much my desire for you is

Cause words don't explain what this feeling inside
Neither do lines figured over centuries I live in world of fantasy
When every breathless creature is alive
And all lies taste sweeter than sugar

Kiss me and whisper what you believe in
Touch me and feel the bitterness within
All glow and obsession never die, 'cause you o my spirit
Only dreams I have of you, the sweetest thing above all
A faith one day my passion and wish turn real

My life in wilderness, yearning for a drop your affection
Seasons may change, time can go by, but my love will stay
Don't ask what these feelings are for, since eternity mean forever

Remembering You

Remembering you each day,
when morning sun rises
and night stars unfold in the sky
only in dreams I can see your face
with your gently smile, your eyes perfection
swiftly am lost in the blissful moment

Remembering you each day,
when troubles come and go
as the world keeps turning its wheel
there's always you inside my head
that carries me away from this reality
only a gleam, it's all needed

Remembering you each day
when a song of life is heard
whispering your name above nature
I shall long for you from time to time
a piece of hope with me to hold
to witness you being the brightest star ever

My Endless Love

Like a voyager crossing a wide desert
My days are empty without you
Come now to cure foolishness inside

You know you are the only one for me
Take me back to where I belong
Coz when you are not with me
I die slowly

O dearest

Why are you turning out against my love
How could I resist the scent of your skin
Tell me whom should I trust to keep this secret

One kiss, and you are gone
One word, and you'll be away forever

Tonight is the night to remember
My passion grew stronger as I long for you
Love is something I would die for

But you build one whole world for me to live
What am I to adore you and to love with all my heart
No one will take over your place, forever
For this is true, and my feelings real indeed

Aliran hangat

yang memenuhiku dan dia

terputus tiba-tiba

terbuang sia-sia

Oleh gunting prasangka

Oleh jurang jalan hidup berbeda

Aliran hangat dua arah

nyatanya salah kaprah

walau di bibir dan di mata

manis dan elok katanya

Aliran hangatku

rupanya tak cukup

terasa pahit baginya

Terputus tiba-tiba

tak adil

sisa waktupun tiada

sedikit saja

tuk memperbaikinya

belum terlambat

Dari penuh

jadi hampa diriku

Sesuatu hancur

dalam diriku

Hancurlah sumber

energi jiwaku

Berkorban kehampaan

tapi ku tak rela

Mungkin ia juga rasa

hampa yang sama

Tak tersisa lagi

untuknya pula

Karena tak sadar

aku rela mati untuknya

Like wind, you came and gone

Your graceful wings

Oh, how I miss you

Your heavenly sings

Why can’t I keep you?

Are my branches

Too thin and brittle?

Are my leaves

Too few to shelter?

Falling you fear

You seek stronger branches

Cold you fear

You prefer bountiful leaves

Yet, I’ll survive

And I’ll be wiser

Grow stronger with time

From the loneliness I bear

If you again need me

Fly back to me to stay

For you I’ll be here

Until time fades away
